OSHA injury posting requirements on Feb. 1st
This is a reminder…. February 1st is when OSHA requires all our companies to post OSHA Form 300A. Form 300A is a summary log of all work-related injuries for 2022. This year I'm recommending all person[s] responsible for keeping track of injuries in their workplace to watch the OSHA record-keeping/tutorial attached above....it's about 16 mins. to watch and excellent refresher on OSHA;s record-keeping requirements.
Here’s what each company needs to do:
1. Review your OSHA 300 injury logs for last year only [2022] for accuracy.
2. Complete the summary form (300A). Employers are required to post the summary, even if your company had zero work-related injuries.
3. Certify the summary by having it signed by a company executive (such as the CEO, owner, or president or the company GM).
4. Hang/post the summary in a common area from February 1 to April 30
see below what the 300A form looks like to be posted [this is just the summary of the past year…no employees names are to be listed].
Please e-mail or call me at 670- 287-7474 if you have any questions
